Deconstructed Artichoke Press appear at various book and craft fairs, including Codex, San Francisco Center for the Book’s Roadworks, San Francisco Bay Area Printer’s Fair and Wayzgoose, San Francisco and Sacramento’s Zine Fairs, and more.
Their books appear in collections all over the country from libraries at California College of the Arts, Kelmscott Books, New York Public Library, Powell's Books, Scripps College, University of California Berkeley, University of Washington, among others.
A little bit humorous, a little bit bittersweet, Dodger Blues tells the story of a softball player's gender issues and the misery caused by family and friends. Each poem is named after a Dodger player. Two accordions, bound as three diamonds, with 108 stitches represent the 108 stitches on a baseball (or 216 depending on how you count it). Inside each diamond are photographs of a baseball field taken with a pinhole camera. The text was letterpress printed.
Nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2014 and received honorable mention in Pressing Matters, a show presented by Central Coast Printmakers and San Luis Obispo Museum of Art in 2016.
