What is a tunnel book, you ask? Inspired by 18th-century peepshows and theatrical stage sets, this structure is made of layered panels with cut-outs. The book itself is held together by concertinas on either side. Tunnel books naturally have the optical illusion of perspective, which leads to the drama of the book.

You will need a glue stick, bone folder, awl, X-acto knife, ruler (cutting mat, scissors, and pencil (if you do not already have these the instructor will have them available for you to borrow).
